Soul Snatched: Noble Savage

Writing about the adversity that is experienced when maintaining your sense of self in the world of music, Soul Snatched is about the level of resilience that is needed to stand on your own two feet.  Recorded and produced by CY Entertainment, Noble Savage has literally put his soul into his latest single.

Previously involved in the music game with his twin brother Jace Murdi, the duo were known as Mild Tace and sold out the Powerhouse in Brisbane performing in the musical Bungu the Money God.  They were apart of the R&B and Hip Hop Music festival Stylin UP and also performed with Indigenous Intrudaz as the opening acts for Christina Anu, receiving a standing ovation and encore. Since then, the twins have created their own identities, however still enjoy closely working together producing their own styles of music.

Noble Savage is well known for his diversity in style of music and also the inclusion of indigenous words and languages within his songs. One of his earlier tracks, Nan Nin Yayo, gained Noble Savage traction in the international indigenous hip hop scene being featured on the International Indigenous Hip Hop Awards Show. The proud Murri man is now prepared to release Soul Snatched a song that takes melodic cues from R’n’B, underpinned with a gritty beat that drives home his energy of indestructible creativity.

Highly respected among the independent Hip Hop scenes of QLD, Noble Savage has collaborated with a range of fiercely independent artists such as Big Noyz and Blackfella Entertainment, Mack Ridge and Master Wolf. His collaboration with C.Reks and Jace Murdi saw their track Mary Jane become an underground anthem.

With Soul Snatched, Noble Savage is making moves to ensure his scene is acknowledged beyond the state lines and that his message of continuing strength is marked officially for all to access.
