Mums Favourite - Music Marketing - Playlist additions

Mums Favourite latest single Joan of the Arcade has been added to playlists in the USA, Europe and Japan. So…

We asked Sasha Theunissen and Brooke Squire of Mums Favourite to share 5 other unsung heroines of the Adelaide music scene.

Gracie Northam – The Birds Are Spies

As one of the youngest and most powerful frontwomen we’ve ever seen, Gracie blows us away everytime she performs. Her vocal range is simply incredible and she successfully leads the trio through a diverse variety of iconic originals and covers. It is truly an honour every time we get to perform alongside her.

Georgie Evans – Molly Rocket, Nico and the Teens

Not only can she write a catchy tune, Georgie puts on a magnetising show whenever she performs. She’s the coolest chick around, and fronts her band Molly Rocket by alternating between bass and guitar, all the while singing/screaming her heart out. We just know that Georgie is destined for stardom.

Madeline Cossey – The Vains, Slippery People

This absolute girl-boss is the rhythmic backbone of two of the tightest bands in Adelaide. Her humble light-heartedness and joyous passion for music comes across with every beat and her virtuoso drumming never fails to impress. You can definitely tell she enjoys every second behind the kit, and we always enjoy every second of her performance.

Chrissie Mower – Witch Hunt

A creative genius, Chrissie fronts her duo with an insane level of talent. Her guitar seems to be an extension of herself, and her song writing skills are unmatched in the local scene. Her laid-back personality translates into her performances as she always chills out the crowd with her reggae-inspired tunes.

My Cherie

Angelic and ethereal, My Cherie is a multi-instrumentalist goddess. Her captivating, one-woman shows are the peak of musical performance. Her spiritual outlook on life is captured so perfectly within her music and as listeners, we are so lucky that she shares it with us. When she performs, it becomes obvious that she feels at home onstage, and makes her audience feel at home too.
