A musical-stylist and poet, Eldafyre sends out a euphoric melancholia infused with a compassionate love. With influences ranging from Patti Smith, Rodriguez and Melanie Safka, Eldafyre is righteous in his approach to the sublime, sharing stories that elate the listener and elevate art as an integral conduit of change.

With a wealth of variety in his back catalogue, we asked Eldafyre to elaborate on his process for all of those interested in a different way to find fulfilment in music.

"My work stems from personal connection. I write music on an acoustic guitar and lay down the poetry with a band, designed in the studio after I have selected my favourite songs. Each musician plays what they feel in their hearts when they hear my words. After a year with the results, I go over the recordings and fine-tune down and filter each song to bring out the best and omit the unnecessary. Each album I create throughout my works will be of a different genre as I am free from the confines of contracts and music industries."

"Pop, Rap and the more popular genres are not nearly as important to me, as the mainstream is more of an indication of peer pressure and trying hard to appear cool, or desirable. I would like nothing more than to float through my creative work as I see fit so that when listeners tune in they hear the pure reflection of where my own heart is and where the artist is going next. Rather than making the art about the fans i am making art about the artist, myself. I do, however, want to pursue pop and rap when I'm old and grey and to try overtly when trying is considered impossible."

"The value and importance of my work revolves completely around originality. It is supposed to be as ugly as it is beautiful. Only when ugly is met with an equal amount of beauty is when something makes a true work of art in my understanding. My music is designed to be listened to once every month or two. When the person is broad of listening to their collection. Eldafyre is where you go when you need to be reawakened to something very different that exists here on earth. My hope is a 'timeless' approach. Taking many years to fully understand each song, I aspire to inspire others to seek the road less traveled. To beat a different drum. Say different things. Make different choices. Shed their skins. Eat different food. My aim is to inspire people to never sell out. Stand up against the people in power who can either help them or crush them. To stand up to with such confidence that in the end they must eventually be in admiration of how much power and strength lies within each and every one of us. It just depends whether we are willing to allow us to surrender to this power within. That is Eldafyre in its raw punk form."
