The Ruminaters are a band. They have become pretty good at playing their instruments, together, in the same room, in their own style.
Since their formation in mid 2010, The Ruminaters have gained a reputation for their reckless, edgy swamp rock sound and rowdy live sets.
With varied influences from The Strokes and The White Stripes to The Clash and The Libertines; The Ruminaters just play feel good tunes and have fun.
Their debut single “Deadstuff” was largely the result of several recording sessions in the bedroom of Bell Weather Department’s Jacob Moore and it typifies who The Ruminaters are, and what they do.
Since it’s release “Deadstuff” has been added to rotation on FBi Radio and featured on Triple J on Richard Kingsmill’s 2011. It was also recently featured in the Quicksilver Pro Daily and on Rollo ad Grady’s LA Music Blog.
