Cinnamon Sound

Torsten Gustavsson is a Melbourne based record producer, recording/mix engineer and songwriter from Australia.

In 2022 he opened Cinnamon Sound with long time studio partner and sound engineer Chas Maher; nestled in the streets of Coburg, they aim to provide a nurturing home for artists and bands alike.

Cinnamon Sound focus’ on drawing out the best of an artist and their works, utilising a distinct hybrid of vintage analogue gear and digital recording mediums. Integrating their passion for 60’s psychedelia and modern production Cinnamon Sound are helping artists realise their sound. This is evident in previous work with Melbourne based acid folk act ‘Felix Leunig & The Looming Feelings’, surf-psych punks ‘The Eyeballers’ and up and coming psychedelic pop phenomenon Chloe Cox and her latest project ‘Sorry Jimi’.

Alongside his creative input and work at Cinnamon Sound, Torsten is a member of local musical projects Corduroy Spaceship, The Terrifying Lows, OKCOOL and 2nd Avenue.

Mix24

After completing the course Eamon started Ambush Studio in Auckland  from 1995 to 1998. Eamon moved to Santa Monica USA to work under world renowned engineer / producer Richard Dashut (Fleetwood Mac , Matthew Sweet , Bachman Turner Overdrive ) 

This culminated in the recording of ‘The Godbox Sessions 90405’ a short lived studio album comprising of (Peter DiStefano & Steven Perkins of Porno for Pyros & Janes Addiction as well as NZ singer-songwriter Theo Ray and Eamon O’Kane)

After Moving to Sydney in 2000 Eamon worked in Film & TV productions (art department & Music composition.)

The Antipodes Music Group was founded in 2015 and is now operating as www.mix24.au from Surry Hills, NSW.

Eamon is now the in house producer / engineer working in a hybrid studio centred around an AMS-Neve console.

New Zealand born now Australian citizen, Eamon started in sound production in 1994 at SAE in NZ. 

Pavement Studios

Lance Robinson aka Lance Link is a producer and multi-instrumentalist songwriter based in Perth, Australia specialising in Top line writing and producing bands. Lance has produced and co-written with international artists working on song arrangement, choosing parts and overall artistic direction, whilst also writing commercial pop hooks and beats for labels such as Kobalt publishing, Ga Ga publishing, Embassy publishing and MTV Music.

Lance worked as an engineer on Coldplay’s Grammy award nominated album “Arabesque'' (2019) and Aria award winging 360 album “Money”, Lance has also collaborated and worked in the studio with strong list of international and nation artist such as Gyroscope, The Sleepy Jackson, Ganggajang and collaborated songwriting with musicians such a Crystal Torres (Beyoncé), Clint Gibbs (Katy Perry) and The Voice / Australian idol winners Matt Gresham, Sydney Carter and The Murphy Brothers.

Lance has been a musician in original band projects for over 20 years and currently is still releasing music under different umbrellas using his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, which was highlighted in the 2015 feature film Top Knot Detective, where Lance composed over 40 songs in a wide range of styles.

With the instinctive ability to hear what a song needs to reach its full potential, Lance recently worked on the latest Karnivool single “A.I.T” (2023 Sony) in the pre-production stage, working on production, song arrangement, studio engineering and continues to produce indie and commercial records.

He currently works at his Perth based studio Pavement Studios where he produces, writes and studio/mix engineers artist worldwide, collaborates and releases music of his own, and mentors a group of assistant engineer/songwriters.
